Tired of Holding It All Together While Feeling Like You’re Falling Apart?

From the outside, it looks like you’re doing fine. You’re responsible, capable, and the one people rely on. But internally, it’s a different story.

Your mind doesn’t slow down. You’re constantly thinking, replaying, anticipating. You feel overwhelmed but still push yourself to keep going. Maybe you struggle to focus, start things but can’t finish them, or feel frustrated with yourself for not “keeping up.” You might feel emotionally numb at times, then suddenly flooded at others. And underneath it all, there’s a quiet sense that something just isn’t right.

You may have learned to ignore your own needs a long time ago. To stay busy. To stay productive. To stay in control. But now you feel disconnected, burned out, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break.

You don’t have to keep living this way.

I work with people who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, and the lasting impact of trauma, especially those who are used to being high-functioning on the outside while struggling on the inside. Together, we make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, not just in your thoughts, but in your nervous system, your habits, and your relationships.

This isn’t about trying harder or forcing change. It’s about understanding how your brain and body have adapted, and learning how to work with yourself instead of against yourself. Over time, that can look like feeling more focused, more emotionally steady, and more connected to who you actually are.

Modalities:

  • Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy

Rooted in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuine connection, person-centered therapy creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be fully yourself. This approach trusts in your inner wisdom and supports your natural capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery—without pressure or pretense.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a practical approach that helps you understand and shift the patterns between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It’s especially helpful for anxiety, overthinking, and feeling stuck.

CBT gives you tools to challenge unhelpful thoughts and build more effective ways of responding. The goal is to help you feel more clear, grounded, and in control of your day-to-day life.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a compassionate, empowering therapy that helps you explore and heal the different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic, the overachiever, or the anxious protector. Rather than trying to eliminate these parts, IFS helps you understand their roles and bring more balance, harmony, and self-leadership to your inner world.

  • Strengths-Based ADHD Treatment

Instead of focusing on what’s “wrong,” strengths-based ADHD treatment highlights what’s right with your brain. We’ll identify your unique gifts—like creativity, innovation, or high energy—and build personalized tools around how you naturally thrive. It’s not about fixing you; it’s about working with your strengths to create success on your terms.

  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT helps you understand, express, and transform your emotions—especially in relationships. Whether you're feeling stuck in reactive patterns or struggling to connect with yourself or others, EFT supports deeper emotional awareness and healing, so you can move from disconnection to closeness, from frustration to understanding.

  • Post-Induction Therapy (PIT)

PIT is a powerful, trauma-informed approach designed to uncover and heal the underlying emotional wounds—like abandonment, shame, or enmeshment—that often stem from childhood. By exploring the roots of dysfunctional patterns, PIT helps you reconnect with your true self and begin living with more authenticity, clarity, and emotional freedom.

  • Expressive Arts Therapy

Sometimes words aren’t enough. Expressive Arts Therapy uses creativity—like drawing, music, movement, or writing—as a way to explore emotions, process experiences, and access deeper healing. You don’t need to be “artistic” to benefit—just open to connecting with yourself in a new, intuitive way.

Why this work matters

A lot of people learn early on how to function, but not how to feel okay.

They become the dependable one. The capable one. The one who adapts, pushes through, and keeps things moving. And for a while, that works. Until it doesn’t.

What I see over and over again are people who are doing everything “right” on the outside but feel anxious, scattered, overwhelmed, or disconnected on the inside. They’re stuck in patterns that once helped them cope, but now leave them feeling exhausted, frustrated, or unsure of who they even are without the pressure.

I’m drawn to this work because these patterns make sense. They’re not random, and they’re not flaws. They’re adaptations shaped by experience, stress, and often trauma. And when you understand them clearly, they can start to change.

Helping people make that shift, from self-blame to understanding, from survival mode to something more grounded and intentional, is the part of this work that matters most to me.

A Therapy Approach That Goes Beyond Just venting

Talking can help, but insight alone doesn’t always create change.

My approach is focused on helping you understand how your mind and nervous system are working, and then actively shifting the patterns that are keeping you stuck. We look at how anxiety shows up in your thinking, how ADHD impacts your follow-through and focus, and how past experiences may still be shaping your reactions and relationships today.

This is not a passive process. It’s collaborative, structured, and intentional.

We work toward changes you can actually notice. Feeling less overwhelmed. Being able to focus and follow through. Responding instead of reacting. Feeling more connected to yourself and the people in your life.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s helping you build a way of living that feels steadier, clearer, and more like your own.

My mission

Every day I encounter resiliency, resourcefulness, strength, and courage inherent in every one of us. Effective therapy helps you tap into the growth potential already inside of you.

This process of the good life is not, I am convinced, a life for the faint-fainthearted. It involves the stretching and growing of becoming more and more of one’s potentialities. It involves the courage to be. It means launching oneself fully into the stream of life.
— Carl R. Rogers

The courage to be

My therapeutic philosophy is well summed up by this Carl Rogers quote. Growth is difficult and often scary. Therapy is a courageous act of self discovery, and luckily you don’t have to do it alone.

the role of the relationship

A person-centered psychotherapist aims to create an authentic and empathetic environment that enables you to encounter your inner self, gain insight and grow.
